The Financial Aid Office wants to welcome you to the MC Online Financial Aid System. This system has all your personal financial aid information from Maryville College. You will be able to complete the financial aid process for Maryville within your secure MC Online FA System.

Log In Instructions and Accessibility

To access the online system, enter your MC Online Financial Aid Student ID and your MC Online Financial Aid System PIN. If you have not created or have forgotten your PIN, you can do this from the LOG IN box in the upper right corner. Keep your ID and PIN in a safe place as you will need these to access the MC Online Financial Aid System in the future.

You must have a financial aid record established at Maryville College for 2010-2011 in order for you to use this system. This means that you must be a new student who has been accepted for admissions or a returning student who has pre-registered for Fall 2010 classes. You will also need to have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you have not begun the financial aid application process, you can get started by completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid online. If you are not interested in any need-based federal, state or institutional grants or loans, please notify the Financial Aid Office at (865)981-8100 to have your FAFSA waived.

** The Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship Program requires all students to complete the FAFSA annually to receive their HOPE Scholarships.

Deadlines-Reminders

• February 1, 2010 is the deadline for Tennessee Residents to complete their 2010-2011 FAFSA for the Tennessee Student Assistance Award. The TSAA is worth up to $4,000. MC does not make up these funds if you file your FAFSA past the deadline.

• April 1, 2010 is the returning student deadline for non Tennessee residents to complete the FAFSA.

• All students must accept their Financial Aid Award online.

• Scholarship renewal GPAs are reviewed after the Spring 2010 semester.

• Returning students who need a Fifth Year to graduate must submit an appeal for Fall 2010 to the Maryville College Appeals Committee c/o the Financial Aid Office by March 1, 2010.

• Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship recipients (HOPE) must have a 2.75 TELS GPA after 24 and 48 attempted hours and a 3.0 TELS GPA after 72, 96 and 120 attempted hours. These benchmarks can occur after the fall or spring semesters or after J-Term. Please make sure to review your TELS attempted hours and TELS GPA after each semester.
